On 04 November 2025, Ambassador joined Liechtenstein’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ms. Sabine Monauni, at a flagship investment-promotion event organised by the Liechtenstein Government to advance the India–EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA). In her remarks, Ms. Monauni emphasised that India, as a rapidly growing market, offers significant opportunities for Liechtenstein companies, highlighting the strong complementarities between India and EFTA countries in achieving the objectives of TEPA for mutual benefit.
Addressing a gathering of leading industry representatives at the event titled “TEPA between India & EFTA – From Agreement to Action” in Vaduz, Ambassador urged Liechtenstein companies to consider India as a key destination for investment. He underscored the potential for Liechtenstein’s innovation and advanced technologies in both manufacturing and services to benefit from India’s growth story, particularly by leveraging the provisions of the India–EFTA TEPA.
During the panel discussion organised by the Liechtenstein Government, top industry leaders— including Ivoclar, INFICON, Hilti Group and Panitek Green Ventures, shared their perspectives on doing business with India. They expressed strong enthusiasm and optimism regarding the new possibilities for growth and expansion enabled by the operationalisation of the India–EFTA TEPA.
