As part of International Year of Millets-2023 (IYoM) celebrations, Embassy of India, Berne organised a promotional event on the nutritional and health benefits of superfood millets at the Chancery on 05 December 2023. During the event, Ambassador Mridul Kumar released the ‘Millets Recipe’ booklet and shared his thoughts on how millets support climate resilient agriculture and sustainable cultivation. India is focussed on emerging as a Global hub for Millets.

Mission played various videos on ‘Introduction of Millets; “Benefits and Nutrition of Millets” and “Millets in India” to create awareness on the nutritional benefits of Millets. Guests also explored the “Nutri-Cereals” lounge and learned about the health benefits of Millets.
