Ambassador Mridul Kumar had a productive meeting with Mr. Vasant Narasimhan, CEO Novartis on 06 December 2023. Discussion focussed on ways to expand India - Switzerland collaboration in life sciences area.
Novartis is a global pharma giant and innovative company. Novartis has employed about 10,000 technical staff at its Global data centre in Hyderabad. At present it is undertaking 112 clinical trials through-out India. This is a significant contribution to India’s pharma industry. Novartis CSR through its “Aarogya Parivar” initiative, is touching 22,000 villages in India.
