MoU renewed between ICCR and Lausanne University for Tagore Chair

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and the University of Lausannefor continuation of the Tagore Chair, established in 2011, for teaching Hindi at the University.

The signatories included, Ambassador (on behalf of ICCR) and Prof. Alain Boillat, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Prof. Dominique Arlettaz, Rector of the University of Lausanne.

In a brief ceremony, the MoU’s were exchanged and Prof. Maya Burger spoke on the importance of Hindi teaching and the approach of the Professors deputed from India, whose innovative technique added a new dimension to teaching Hindi.
