DEWALI CELEBRATION

The Embassy celebrated the Diwali in the Chancery premises on 22nd October 2014 with traditional pooja. The event was attended by officers, staff by and their families members. Association of the Friends of India celebrated Diwali function on 25th October 2014 with traditional pooja. Live music, dance by Mrs. Bhaswati Mitra and team from India followed by Dandiya dance were performed on this occasion. On 1st November 2014, Indian Association, Berne also celebrated their Diwali event with traditional pooja. It was followed by Bollywood and Oriental Dance performance by Ms. Isabel and her troupe. H.E. Mr. M.K. Lokesh, Ambassador of India to Switzerland attended the event.
