Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas – 2025 celebration at Berne on 10 January 2025

Embassy of India, Berne, celebrated Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas-2025 with the enthusiastic participation of the Indian diaspora and captivating dance & instrumental music performances by Indian diaspora kids on 10 January 2025 at Berne.

Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Kumar highlighted the Indian diaspora’s valuable contribution to the motherland, describing them as an organic link between India and Switzerland. He also congratulated the diaspora for keeping the next generation deeply rooted to Indian culture & values.

The mesmerizing evening of celebrating witnessed an impressive lineup of enthusiastic performances by the Indian diaspora from across Switzerland, including a spontaneous quiz on India that added a delightful spark to Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas - 2025 celebrations.

On the sidelines, the Embassy also celebrated Vishwa Hindi Diwas with a dedicated segment. Shri. Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s timeless poetry were brought to life by diaspora members during the poetry recitation segment.

Concluding the event, Ambassador Kumar felicitated winners of the spot quiz and participants with certificates of appreciation.
