Ambassador Mridul Kumar welcomed Indian Parliamentary delegation led by Lok Sabha Speaker Shri. Om Birla during the Indian community interaction organized by PMI Geneva. The Indian delegation was attending Inter Parliamentary Union’s 149th Assembly. Addressing the community, Lok Sabha speaker Shri. Om Birla urged diaspora to build stronger bridges between India and Switzerland through people to people contacts. Ambassador Kumar briefed the Indian parliamentary delegation about Swiss direct democracy & ways to enhance India – Switzerland ties through trade, commerce, Science & Technology.
