78th Independence Day celebrations at Berne on 15 August 2024

Embassy of India, Berne celebrated the 78th Independence Day of India with great joy & fervor. Ambassador Kumar hoisted the Indian tricolour and read out excerpts from Hon'ble Rashtrapatiji  address to the nation on this occasion. The celebrations witnessed enthusiastic participation of joyous Indian diaspora. Ambassador Kumar and leaders of Indian diaspora planted trees at India House during the celebrations, joining the ?? ???? ??? ?? ??? and Plant 4 Mother campaign initiatied by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi, a worthwhile contribution to a green and sustainable future. As a part of the 78th Independence Day celebrations, Ambassador Kumar handed over course completion certificates to students who successfully completed the 1st Intermediate-Level Yoga Teacher Training Course organized by Embassy of India, Berne.
