Observance of ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ at Chancery on 14 August 2024

In a solemn ceremony held at Embassy of India, Berne, ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ was observed in memory of those who lost their lives & suffered the pain of displacement during India's partition in 1947. The event commenced with Ambassador’s address, screening of a short documentary on ‘The Making of a Nation – A prologue’ by Public Diplomacy Division and a digital exhibition on ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’, jointly curated by Indian Council for Historical Research & Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts.
