Ambassador Mridul Kumar’s address at “ESG Meets Blockchain Summit” on 11 July 2024

Ambassador Mridul Kumar addressed the “ESG Meets Blockchain Summit” in Lugano on 11 July 2024, which was attended by policymakers, diplomats, academicians, consultants and industry experts. Ambassador outlined India’s approach to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) as well as sustainable development & convergence with Blockchain.

Ambassador urged Industry leaders to follow mantra of “doing well by doing good” for larger good of society. He underlined that use of emerging tech like Blockchain could help in mitigating challenges posed by climate change, socio-economic inequality and cyber vulnerability.
