Indian Association, Berne celebrates Independence Day

Indian Association, Berne celebrated the 70th Independence Day of India on 20th August, 2016 at Wylerhaus, Berne.

Children of the Embassy officials gave song and dance performances. Gauri and Meera, exponents of classical Kathak who have studied their art under Birju Maharaj, also performed on this occasion. It was attended by more than 150 members of the Associations including Embassy officers. Ms. Smita Purushottam Ambassador of India to Switzerland and Ms. Doris Maria Frick, Ambassador of Liechtenstein in Switzerland graced the occasion.
